Analysis of deformation structures of flysch sediments of the Outer Carpathians in aerial orthoimagery

Abstract:

První část práce se věnuje vzniku flyšového pásma, popisu a jeho dělení na dvě základní příkrovové oblasti – vnitřní magurská, která tvoří většinu flyšového pásma a vnější krosněnská jednotka (Chlupáč et al., 2002). Oblasti jsou rozděleny na další dílčí jednotky a podjednotky. Dále jsou shrnuty historické poznatky o této oblasti. Dalším bodem je popis a rozdělení deformačních struktur a informace o interpretaci z leteckých snímků. Byly použity mapové portály k vyhledání vhodných leteckých snímků. Byly využity letecké snímky ze tří vesnic v okolí Bučovic (Heršpice, Nížkovice, Vícemilice) a podle nich byly vytvořeny geologické mapy a řezy. Pozorovat lze zejména zlomové struktury, vrásové struktury a dále vrstevní přechody mezi jílem a pískem (nebo jílovcem a pískovcem). V závěru je shrnutí poznatků a výsledků práce.

Abstract:

The first part of this work is dealing with the creation of flysch zone, its description and division on two basic displaced mass zones – inner Magura unit, which forms the majority of flysch zone and outer Krosno unit (Chlupáč et al., 2002). These zones are divided into another parts of units and underunits. Farther, historical notes about this region are summarized. Another part of this work is description and division of deformation structures and information about an interpretation from aerial shots. In this work, the map portals to search appropriate aerial shots were used. These aerial shots were used from three villages in surroundings of Bučovice region (Heršpice, Nížkovice, Vícemilice) and according to these shots were created geological maps and cuts. Especially the fault structures are observed, farther folds and layer transitions between clay and sand (or claystone and sandstone). In the end of the work, there is summary of pieces of knowledge and results of labour.
