The results of treatment of superficial corneal disorders by excimer laser

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce na téma Výsledky léčby povrchových onemocnění rohovky excimerovým laserem se v první kapitole zabývá anatomií a histologií rohovky. Následující kapitola popisuje vyšetřovací metody předního segmentu oka, které jsou také důležité pro předoperační vyšetření před laserovým zákrokem. Dále práce zmiňuje rohovková onemocnění, mezi nimiž jsou zahrnuty rohovkové anomálie indikované k fototerapeutické keratektomii. Poslední kapitola teoretické části obsahuje popis excimerového laseru a jeho využití v rohovkové chirurgii. Výzkumná část této práce zhodnocuje nejlépe korigovanou zrakovou ostrost před fototerapeutickou keratektomií a po ní. Současně práce hodnotí nejlépe korigovanou zrakovou ostrost a hodnotu sférického ekvivalentu před kombinovaným zákrokem fototerapeutické keratektomie s fotorefraktivní keratektomií a po zákroku.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on The results of treatment of superficial corneal disorders by excimer laser. In its first chapter there is written about the anatomy and histology of the cornea. The following section describes methods of examination of the anterior segment of the eye, which are also important for preoperative evaluation efore the laser surgery. The work also mentions corneal diseases, which are corneal anomalies indicated for phototherapeutic keratectomy. The last chapter contains a description of the excimer laser and its use in corneal surgery. The research part of this work evaluates best-corrected visual acuity before and after phototherapeutic keratectomy. It contains also the best-corrected visual acuity before combining surgery phototherapeutic keratectomy with photorefractive keratectomy and after this surgery.
