Barriers of the integration of mentally disabled people to the working process in the selected organization

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké jsou bariéry integrace osob s mentálním postižením do pracovního procesu ve vybrané organizaci a jak pracovní integrace působí na kvalitu života osob s mentálním postižením. Teoretická část se věnuje lidem s mentálním postižením. Jsou zde také uvedeny způsoby, jak lze předcházet vzniku mentálního postižení. Dále teoretická část obsahuje kapitoly týkající se zaměstnávání lidí s mentálním postižením, a také sociální a pracovní integraci. Zároveň zkoumá bariéry integrace osob s mentálním postižením z různých hledisek. Druhá část práce je vyhrazena popisu metodice výzkumu. Pro výzkum byla použita kvalitativní strategie a polostrukturovaný typ rozhovoru. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří devět informantů (tři zaměstnavatelé a vedoucí pracovníci, tři rodiče, tři osoby s mentálním postižením). Poslední část práce tvoří interpretace a analýza informací zjištěných ve výzkumu a v závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky, ke kterým autorka dospěla.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to find out what are the barriers of the integration of mentally disabled people to work in a selected organization and how work integration influences the quality of the mentally disabled. Theoretical part is dedicated to the mentally disabled people and points out the ways you can prevent mental retardation. Furthermore, the theoretical part contains chapters on employment of people with mental disabilities and social and occupational integration and examines integration barriers of mentally handicapped from different perspectives. The second part of the thesis is reserved for the description of the methodology research. The research uses a qualitative strategy and semi-structured type of interview. The research sample consists of nine informants (three employers and managers, three parents, three mentally handicapped). The last part is the interpretation and analysis of the information gathered in the research and the conclusion part summarizes the results found by the author.
