Diplomová práce se zabývá ochranou veřejného zdraví před negativními vlivy cigaretového kouře. V první části práce jsou popsána základní východiska. Pozornost je věnována veřejnému zdraví, pojmu cigarety a cigaretového kouře a jeho dopadům na lidské zdraví a životní prostředí.
