Abstract:

Hlavní záměr této bakalářské práce je zvážit efektivní využití programu “Jazyky bez Bariér” při učení anglického jazyka. Cílem je sledování vybraných žáků s dyslexií při používání tohoto programu a jeho případný vliv na zlepšení znalostí vybraných jedinců v porovnání s použitím klasických materiálů používaných k výuce. Nejvýznamnější část práce je zaměřena na výzkum, který je věnovaný používání programu “Jazyky bez Bariér”, jenž může být k tomuto účelu použit a případnému vlivu na efektivnější použití při vlastním učení anglického jazyka. Důraz je kladen na porovnání kladů a záporů daného programu i klasických materiálů používaných studenty v domácím prostředí a jejich vliv na děti s dyslexií. Tato bakalářská práce je založena na informacích z odborných knih i periodik věnovaným dyslexii a z největší části autorově výzkumu dětí s dyslexií ve věku od deseti do patnácti let.

Abstract:

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to consider the effective use of the programme Languages Without Barriers (LWB) in learning English. The goals are to observe how the use of this programme influences the dyslexic in connection with learning a foreign language and whether using LWB can help to improve their knowledge of English in comparison with classic methods. The largest part of the thesis is devoted to an observation dedicated to using the programme LWB, which can be used for this purpose, and its real influence on dyslexic children's ability to learn a foreign language more effectively. Emphasis is put on the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the chosen programme and the classic methods used by students at home and its impact on children with dyslexia. This bachelor thesis is based on information from various books, journals and magazines applied to dyslexia and mainly the author´s own research of dyslexic children ranging from the age of ten to sixteen.
