The Status and Role of the Social Worker

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se studentka zaměří na problematiku statusů a rolí sociálních pracovníků. Dále bude analyticky vymezena problematika vztahů mezi sociálními pracovníky a uživateli služeb. Studentka porovná výpovědi informantů z různých organizací. Konkrétně se bude jednat o organizace, které se zaměřují na pomoc a podporu dospělým lidem a dětem. Důležitou rovinou bude otázka motivace, cílů a očekávání sociálních pracovníků v jejich práci. Jako výzkumné metody studentka použije dotazníky, které rozešle do organizací, dále rozhovory s vybranými sociálními pracovníky různých organizací. Z hlediska teoretického zakotvení bude vycházet z konceptů habitu, statusu a role. Cílem této práce je analyzovat problematiku statusů a rolí sociálních pracovníků. Součástí bakalářské práce bude i krátká vizuální práce, která se bude daného tématu týkat. Vizuální část bude obsahovat rozhovory se sociálními pracovníky, záběry jejich pracovní činnosti a prostředí, ve kterém pracují.

Abstract:

In her bachelor thesis the student will focus on the issue of statuses and roles of social workers. Furthermore, the problem of relations between social workers and service users will be analytically defined. The student will compare the statements of informants from different organisations, specifically organisations that focus on helping and supporting adults and children. An important level will be the motivation, goals and expectations of social workers in their work. As research methods the student will use questionnaires that she will distribute to the organizations, as well as interviews with selected social workers from different organizations. In terms of theoretical grounding, she will draw on the concepts of habitus, status and role. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the issue of status and roles of social workers. The thesis will also include a short visual work that will be related to the topic. The visual part will include interviews with social workers, footage of their work activities and the environment in which they work.
