Vedoucí pracovník má vysoké postavení v organizaci. Jen na něm záleží, jak bude, či nebude organizace prosperovat. Vše se odehrává pomocí vedení lidí a směřování je k vytyčenému společnému cíli. Je velmi žádoucí, aby vůdce dokázal své podřízené dobře motivovat, aby se zaměstnanci s cíli organizace ztotožnili a cíl přijali za svůj vlastní.
