Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Příležitosti a hrozby umělé inteligence“ pojednává o poměrně mladém oboru, který vznikl v polovině 20. století a jejž John McCarthy pojmenoval umělá inteligence. První kapitola se věnuje samotnému pojmu a definici umělé inteligence, zmiňuje se o změně paradigmatu v umělé inteligenci a také o známém testu Alana Turinga. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na techniky umělé inteligence a jejich aplikovatelnost v praxi. Právě techniky jako umělé neuronové sítě, expertní systémy nebo fuzzy logika v současné době tvoří samotnou podstatu umělé inteligence. Třetí kapitola se věnuje robotice, což je obor úzce související s umělou inteligencí a využívající výše zmíněné techniky. Kapitola také ukazuje některé oblasti, kde robotika nachází uplatnění. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá možnostmi, kam až vývoj umělé inteligence může dospět a zda je vůbec možné, aby stroje mohly myslet. Kapitola nabízí jak optimistické, tak pesimistické názory na vývoj umělé inteligence. Závěrečná pátá kapitola popisuje techniku vytváření scénářů a na konkrétním příkladu ukazuje možný vývoj umělé inteligence a jeho dopad na společnost.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Artificial intelligence - opportunities and threats“ deals with relatively young branch originated in the first half of the 20th century which John McCarthy called artificial intelligence. The first chapter is devoted to the conception and definition of artificial intelligence, refers to the modification of paradigm in artificial intelligence and also to well-known Alan Turing’s test. The second chapter describes the techniques of artificial intelligence and their utilization in practise. Right these techniques like artificial neural networks, expert systems or fuzzy logic forms the very principles of artificial intelligence. The third chapter is devoted to robotics which is a branch closely associated with artificial intelligence and which utilizes the techniques mentioned above. The chapter also illustrates some fields where robotics can be used. The fourth chapter considers the limits of the artificial intelligence progression and the question if it is possible the machines would have been thinking in general. The chapter offers optimistic as well as pesimistic opinions of the artificial intelligence progression. The final fifth chapter is devoted to formulation of the scenario of the future. It is shown on the concrete example the eventual development of the the artificial intelligence and its impact on society.
