The achievement motivation in English lessons of pupils with special education needs at 1st and 2nd grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je "Výkonová motivace v hodinách anglického jazyka u žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na 1. a 2. stupni základní školy". Cílem práce je prozkoumat a porovnat rozdíly ve výkonové motivaci v hodinách anglického jazyka mezi žáky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na 1. a na 2. stupni základní školy. Teoretická část představuje východiska pro empirickou část práce. Zabývá se definicemi, popisem a klasifikací speciálních vzdělávacích potřeb se zaměřením na specifické poruchy učení, pozornosti a chování. Další kapitolu představuje vývoj dětské osobnosti ve školním věku a vztah žáků ke školní práci. Následuje oblast motivace lidského chování, výkonové motivace, její teorie a školní výkonové motivace. Poslední kapitola je věnována výuce cizího jazyka na základní škole s ohledem na rámcový vzdělávací program (RVP ZV). Praktická část vychází z výzkumného šetření, které je provedeno na základě standardizovaného dotazníku zjišťujícího školní výkonovou motivaci žáků.

Abstract:

The theme of the bachelor thesis is a "School achievement motivation in English language lessons in pupils with special educational needs in a primary and a lower secondary school". The aim of the thesis is to investigate and compare the differences in school achievement motivation in English language lessons between pupils with special educational needs in a primary and a lower secondary school. The theoretical part provides the bases for the empirical part of the thesis. It deals with definitions, descriptions, and classifications of special educational needs with a focus on specific learning disorders, attention and behavioural disorders. The following chapter presents the development of the child personality at school age and the pupils' relationship to schoolwork. This is followed by the description of human behaviour motivation, achievement motivation, its theory, and school achievement motivation. The last chapter is devoted to the teaching of a foreign language in primary school with regard to the Curriculum Framework (RVP ZV). The practical part is based on a research investigation, which was realized by a standardized questionnaire investigating pupils' school achievement motivation.
