The analysis of misuse of nontraditional narcotics, addictive substances in the Czech drug scene and its influence on an individual and a society

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku netradičních drog na české drogové scéně. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmový aparát, analyzuje konkrétní netradiční drogy i jejich účinky a hodnotí jejich dopady na jedince a společnost. Dále je zhodnocena situace na české drogové scéně. Pro teoretická východiska je použita literární rešerše složená z domácí a zahraniční odborné literatury. Cílem praktické části je za pomoci dotazníkového šetření předložit zjištění týkající se znalostí a zkušeností respondentů s netradičními drogami. Z výsledků vyplývá, mimo dalších zjištění, že lidé nemají dostatečné znalosti o těchto látkách, a proto je přínosem práce zejména rozšíření povědomí o netradičních drogách a jejich dopadech.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the issue of non-traditional drugs in Czech drug scene. The theoretical part defines the main terminology, analyses particular non-traditional drugs, also their effects and impacts on individuals and society. The situation in the Czech drug scene is also evaluated. For the theoretical recourses there is used literary search composed of domestic and foreign professional literature. The aim of the practical part is to present findings concerning the knowledge and experiences of respondents with non-traditional drugs with help of a questionnaire survey. The results show, among other findings, that people do not have sufficient knowledge about these substances, and therefore the benefit of this thesis is mainly to increase the awareness of non-traditional drugs and their effects.
