Leisure time art activities as a basis of art lessons in elementary school-aged children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá volnočasovými výtvarnými aktivitami dětí mladšího školního věku a možnosti jejich využití v hodinách výtvarné výchovy. Teoretická část práce obsahuje teoretický podklad k tématu. Přibližuje se zde výtvarný projev dítěte, historický vývoj výtvarné výchovy, školská reforma vedoucí k Rámcovému vzdělávacímu programu pro základní vzdělávání a osobnost žáka. Výzkumná část práce se věnuje kvalitativnímu výzkumu metodou pozorování a realizovaným tématům ve výuce. Výzkumné vzorky od žáků třetích tříd jsou rozděleny podle zobrazeného předmětu a „hry s výtvarnými prvky“ a následně analyzovány za pomoci dostupné odborné literatury. V závěru části je provedeno srovnání hodin výtvarné výchovy s dětskými výtvarnými aktivitami ve volném čase. Výstupem práce je soubor námětů uvedených v návrhové části, u kterých je využito poznatků z analýzy výzkumných vzorků. Náměty jsou vytvořeny tak, aby podporovaly motivaci žáků v hodinách výtvarné výchovy.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis deals with leisure time art activities in elementary school-aged children and the possibilities on how to use them in art lessons. The theoretical part provides the basis for the theme. It describes an art expression of the child, the historical development of art education, school reform leading to Framework Education Program for Basic Education and personality of the pupil. The research part deals with qualitative research by the method of observation and applied topics in lessons. Research samples from the third grade students are divided in two groups according to the displayed object and "games with art elements", and subsequently analyzed using the available literature. At the end of this part was performed a comparison of the art lessons with children's leisure time art activities. The work output is a set of topics specified in the proposal part in which were used knowledge from the analysis of research samples. Topics are made to support the motivation of pupils in art lessons.
