Foster care in the Czech republic and in Germany

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je pěstounská péče v České republice a v Německu. Jedná se o práci teoretickou a jejím cílem je poskytnout ucelené informace o pěstounské péči v České republice s přihlédnutím k aktuálním změnám a zjistit, v čem se liší pěstounská péče v České republice od pěstounské péče v Německu. V úvodu práce jsem se zaměřila na obecné záležitosti týkající se rodiny, jejích funkcí, na poruchy rodiny a s tím související i náhradní rodinnou péči. Vymezila jsem také rodinu jako součást rodinné politiky státu v systému sociální politiky a určila teorii, která je východiskem celé práce. Dále se zabývám samotnou pěstounskou péčí v České republice, jejími typy, vývojem, procesem zprostředkování pěstounské péče a finanční podporou pěstounů ze strany státu. Následuje kapitola o pěstounské péči v Německu, kde jsem popsala naprosto stejné oblasti pěstounské péče (tzn. její vývoj, typy, proces zprostředkování i finanční podporu pěstounů v Německu) tak, abych je mohla mezi sebou porovnat. Poslední kapitola popisuje metodologický postup, analýzu výsledků a samotnou komparaci. Závěr je shrnutím toho, k čemu jsem při psaní své práce došla - v čem se liší pěstounská péče v Německu od pěstounské péče v České republice a které pozitivní zkušenosti z německé praxe by se mohly stát pro Českou republiku v budoucnu inspirací.

Abstract:

The subject to this diploma work is foster care in the Czech Republic and in Germany. This is theoretical work and the aim of this work is to provide complete information about foster care in the Czech Republic, take actual changes into consideration and find out, what is the difference between foster care in the Czech Republic and in Germany. At the beginning of my work I wrote about general family things, family functions, family disorders and spare family care. I also qualified the family as part of state family policy in social policy system and specified theory, which is the resource of all my work. Also I pursue the foster care in the Czech Republic, kinds of foster care, foster care progress, arranging foster care process and guardian financial support from the state. The following chapter is about foster care in Germany, where I described the same part of foster care (i.e. foster care progress, kinds of foster care, arranging foster care process and guardian financial support in Germany) so I could compare them to each other. The last chapter describes methodical process, results analysis and comparisons. The finish of my work is summary this, what I have found out - what is the difference between foster care in Germany and in the Czech Republic and which positive experiences from German practice could be inspiration for the Czech Republic in the future.
