System for the protection of cultural heritage in France

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Systém ochrany kulturního dědictví ve Francii“ je analýza tohoto systému od jeho vzniku až po současnost, jeho následné zhodnocení a vyvození praktik, které by mohly být implementovány do naší památkové péče. První část je zaměřena na vznik a popis historie francouzské památkové péče. Druhá část se zabývá současným systémem památkové péče včetně jeho vazeb na nadnárodní instituce. Třetí část se zaměřuje na odborníky v oblasti ochrany kulturního dědictví a na specifika jejich vzdělávání. Ve čtvrté části je přiblíženo financování tohoto systému včetně daňové a finanční politiky a mecenášství. V poslední části je pak tento systém zhodnocen pomocí SWOT analýzy a jsou z něj vyvozeny praktiky, které by mohly být implementovány do české památkové péče.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis: “System for the protection of cultural heritage in France” is to analyze this system from its birth up to the present followed by its evaluation and practices that could be implemented to our system for the protection of cultural heritage. The first part concentrates on birth and description of history of French protection of cultural heritage. The second part focuses on contemporary system of heritage protection including its links to multinational institutions. The third part concentrates on experts of cultural heritage and on specifics of their education. In the following part, there is described a financing of this system including taxation and financial policy and patronage initiative. In the last part, there is an evaluation of this system made by SWOT analysis and followed by deduced practices that could be implemented to Czech system for the protection of cultural heritage.
