The analysis of support measures for pupils with mild intellectual disabilities in the inclusive environment of primary schools

Abstract:

Disertační práce a výzkumné projekty se zabývají analýzou činností jednotlivých pracovníků školního poradenského pracoviště ve školách hlavního vzdělávacího proudu v Jihomoravském kraji a analýzou podpůrných opatření u žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením v inkluzivním prostředí základních škol v Břeclavi. Teoretická část disertační práce je rozčleněna do tří kapitol. V první kapitole je specifikován pojem inkluze a inkluzivní vzdělávání. Zde je charakterizována současná vzdělávací politika některých zemí, které jsou na cestě k inkluzi a inkluzivnímu vzdělávání. Kapitola zahrnuje analýzu a komparaci podpůrných opatření pro žáky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami ve vybraných zemích. Součástí kapitoly je pojednání o problematice metodologie ve vztahu k disertační práci a výzkumným projektům. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na žáky s lehkým mentálním postižením. Zde je definováno pojetí mentálního postižení, také jsou vymezena osobnostní specifika žáků s mentálním postižením a specifikován proces vzdělávání žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením v inkluzivní škole. Závěr kapitoly je věnován strategii hodnocení na základní škole. Poslední teoretická kapitola pojednává o individuální podpoře žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami ve škole hlavního vzdělávacího proudu, školském poradenském zařízení a školním poradenském pracovišti. Stručné pojednání o poradenské podpoře rodičům při edukaci dětí je také součástí této kapitoly. Empirická část disertační práce obsahuje dva výzkumné projekty. Čtvrtá kapitola charakterizuje kvantitativní výzkum realizovaný technikou dotazníku vlastní konstrukce, který byl adresován ředitelům úplných základních škol v Jihomoravském kraji. Výsledky výzkumu byly zpracovány do tabulek a grafů. Získaná data byla zpracována statistickou metodou pomocí bivariační analýzy. Pátá kapitola předkládá závěry prvního výzkumného projektu a doporučení pro speciálně pedagogickou teorii a praxi. Šestá kapitola charakterizuje kvalitativní výzkum realizovaný technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Soubor informantů tvořilo 11 osob (6 učitelů základní školy a 5 učitelů bývalé základní školy praktické) z Břeclavi. Získaná data byla analyzována za využití techniky otevřeného kódování do analytických jednotek. Jednotlivé části byly kategorizovány pomocí axiálního kódování. Spojení a vztahy mezi stanovenými kódy byly identifikovány a následně graficky zobrazeny v kauzálních sítích (selektivní kódování). Sedmá kapitola obsahuje závěry druhého výzkumného projektu a diskuzi, na jejímž základě byla sestavena doporučení pro speciálně pedagogickou teorii a praxi.

Abstract:

The Dissertation thesis and research projects deal with the analysis of the activities of the individual staff of the school counselling centre in mainstream schools in the South Moravian Region and with the analysis of support measures for pupils with mild intellectual disabilities in the inclusive environment of primary schools in Břeclav. The theoretical part of the dissertation thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter is specified the concept of inclusion and inclusive education. Here is characterized the current education policy in some countries, which are on the way to inclusion and inclusive education. The chapter includes of analysis and comparison of supportive measures for pupils with special educational needs in selected countries. Part of the chapter is also a treatise about the issue of methodology in relation to the dissertation thesis and research projects. The second chapter focuses on pupils with mild intellectual disabilities. There is defined the concept of intellectual disability, in this chapter are also defined personality specifics of pupils with intellectual disabilities and specified the process of education of pupils with mild intellectual disabilities in an inclusive school. The conclusion of the chapter is devoted to the evaluation strategy at primary school. The last theoretical chapter discusses about the individual support for pupils with special educational needs in mainstream school, a school counselling facility and school counselling centre. A brief treatise about counselling support to parents in the education of children is also part of this chapter. The empirical part of the dissertation thesis contains two research projects. The fourth chapter characterizes a quantitative research realized by technique of a questionnaire by own design, which was addressed to headmasters of complete primary schools in the South Moravian Region. Results of research were processed into charts and graphs. The obtained data were processed by statistical method using bivariate analysis. The fifth chapter presents the conclusions of the first research project and recommendations for special educational theory and practice. The sixth chapter characterizes the qualitative research realized by technique of the semi-structured interview. The set of informants consisted of 11 people (6 primary school teachers and 5 teachers of the former practical primary school) from Břeclav. The obtained data were analyzed using open coding into analytical units. Individual parts were categorized by means of axial coding. Connections and relationships between established codes were identified and subsequently graphically displayed into causal networks (selective coding). The seventh chapter contains the conclusions of the second research project and the discussion, on the basis of which recommendations for special educational theory and practice were drawn up.
