Evaluation of pro-family measures aimed at the flexibility of work in Česká spořitelna a. s.

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší téma harmonizace rodinného a pracovního života rodičů na trhu práce. Cílem práce je teoreticky zmapovat a popsat možnosti harmonizace rodinného a pracovního života v České republice a zjistit, jak jsou tato opatření využívána v praxi, konkrétně v České spořitelně. Teoretická část práce se zabývá tématem rodiny, rodiny na trhu práce a opatřeními, která napomáhají skloubit rodinný a pracovní život. Výzkumná část byla provedena pomocí kvalitativní strategie, konkrétně bylo využito metody případové studie a zkoumání dokumentů. Na základě získaných dat z provedených rozhovorů je zřejmé, že největší překážkou k nalezení rovnováhy mezi rodinným a pracovním životem zaměstnanců České spořitelny je dlouhá pracovní doba, kterou se většina oslovených komunikačních partnerů rozhodla řešit zkrácením pracovního úvazku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the harmonisation between family and work life at the labour market. The thesis aims to provide theoretical description of possibilities of harmonisation between family and work life in the Czech Republic. Also it describes the policies and measures that are used in the specific company - Česká spořitelna a. s. The theoretical part of the thesis is related to the topics such as family, family at the labour market and the policies and measures that helps to find a balance between family and work life. The research part was made by using qualitative strategy, when the case study method and examining documents were used. Based on the data from the interviews, it is certain that the greatest obstacle in finding a balance between family and work life of the employees of the company Česká spořitelna a. s. is a long working time, therefore the most of the employees use part time jobs.
