Product creation in the tourism industry and cultural heritage protection using the example of Czech garnet jewellery on the Royal Route

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice vztahu produktu vytvořeného v cestovním ruchu a ochranou kulturního dědictví. Práce si vzala za příklad český granátový šperk, na kterém bylo cíl zkoumat, zdali je možné v tomto vztahu nalézt soulad anebo jestli komodifikace nehmotného kulturního dědictví muže způsobit konflikt. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na jednotlivá témata, která s cestovním ruchem souvisí a věnuje se i popisu českého šperku z pohledu umělecko-historického kontextu. Praktická část zkoumá konkrétní situace a na základě výsledku, kdy soulad tohoto vztahu stoji na jednom klíčovém aktéru, formuluje kroky k zajištění jeho udržitelnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the relationship between the product created in the tourism industry and the protection of cultural heritage. The thesis took Czech garnet jewellery as an example, which will investigate whether it is possible to find harmony in this relationship or whether the commodification of intangible cultural heritage can cause conflict. The theoretical part of the work is focused on individual topics that are related to tourism and is also devoted to the description of Czech jewellery from the point of view of the artistic-historical context. The practical part examines specific situations and, based on the result when the harmony of this relationship relies on one key actor, formulates steps to ensure its sustainability.
