Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou překládání jazykových reálií uváděných v textech nejznámějšího cestopisného časopisu na světě, National Geographic Magazine.Úkolem práce je sběr jazykových reálií ze čtyř textů a srovnání jejich přenosu z výchozího jazyka angličtiny do cílových jazyků ruštiny a češtiny. This diploma thesis deals with the translation of the life, cultural and demographic basic facts gathered out of the most famous travel magazine, National Geographic Magazine. The task of the paper is gathering these facts out of four articles and compare their translations from the English into the Russian and Czech.
