Driving under the influence of alcohol

Abstract:

Tato práce podává základní a stručné informace o alkoholu jako takovém, vývoji závislostí, psychických následcích jeho dlouhodobého užívání a sociálních důsledcích; zejména jeho vlivu na jedince, rodinu, zaměstnání a celou společnost. Dále se v ní můžeme dočíst o požívání alkoholických nápojů před či během řízení motorových vozidel a jejich vlivu na organismus člověka. Jsou zde uvedeny i způsoby zjišťování alkoholu s určováním jeho hladiny, a také porovnání jednání, chování a reakcí řidiče ve stavu po požití alkoholu a ve stavu střízlivém. Dále nám práce dává možnost seznámit se se zákonnými ustanoveními, zabývajícími se danou problematikou a hrozícími sankcemi v případě jejich porušení. V neposlední řadě je zde zmíněna prevence (a to především v rodině a školských zařízeních) a úloha sociálního pedagoga a jeho vliv zejména na mladou generaci. V závěru práce najdeme stručný výčet organizací a institucí, zabývajících se prevencí a případnou pomocí. Práce je doplněna i statistickými údaji řízení motorových vozidel po požití alkoholických nápojů, jejich vliv na nehodovost v ČR a na území okresu Uherské Hradiště, a také zajímavým průzkumem k danému tématu.

Abstract:

This thesis contains basic and brief information about alcohol itself, development of addictions, psychical and social consequences of its long-term consumption, primarily its influence over individual, family, occupation and entire society. Then we can read here about drinking alcoholic beverages before or during diving and its impact to whole human organism. Ways of finding alcohol and determining its level is mentioned here as well as comparison of manners, behavior and reaction of driver under the influence of alcohol and a sober driver. We can learn here about enactments conversant with mentioned problematic and impending when breaking them. Least but not last, there is also reference about prevention (at schools and families at the first place), role of pedagogue and his influence especially to young generation. In the close, there is compendious list of organizations and institutions dealing with prevention and pertinent help. Thesis is supplemented with statistic data about driving under the influence of alcohol, how it affects accident rate in Czech Republic and in the area of Uherske Hradiste District and other interesting research relative to the plot.
