The analysis of barrier-free tourism in a chosen destination

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá bezbariérovým cestovním ruchem ve městě Jeseník. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, které se vztahují k problematice sociálního a bezbariérového cestovního ruchu, osobnosti handicapovaných a jejich potřeb při tvorbě bezbariérového prostředí. V praktické části práce je provedena samotná analýza bezbariérového cestovního ruchu v Jeseníku. Konkrétně analýza zkoumá ubytovací zařízení, stravovací zařízení, dopravu a atraktivity cestovního ruchu, jakožto hlavní předpoklady pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu. Dílčí částí analýzy je návrh vhodných turistických tras. Analýza je provedena na základě metody sběru relevantních sekundárních dat a následného došetřování v podobě rozhovorů s provozovateli podniků cestovního ruchu. Získané informace jsou poté prověřovány terénním výzkumem dle Metodiky kategorizace přístupnosti objektů, tras a komunikací.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with barrier-free tourism in Jeseník. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are defined basic terms related to the issues of social and barrier-free tourism, disabled people and their needs in creating a barrier-free environment. The practical part of the thesis expounds the analysis of barrier-free tourism in Jeseník. Specifically, the analysis examines accommodation, catering, transport and tourist attractiveness as main preconditions for the development of tourism. Part of the analysis involves a proposal for applicable tourist routes. The analysis is performed on the basis of the method of collecting relevant secondary data and its subsequent investigation in the form of interviews with the operators of tourist facilities. The obtained data are subsequently verified with field research according to the Methodology of Accessibility of Objects, Routes and Roads.
