Crisis in Venezuela: causes and possible ways out

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá krizí ve Venezuele, která v zemi probíhá od roku 2014. Cílem práce je určit příčiny této krize a navrhnout možná východiska z krize. Práce je rozdělena do 4 kapitol, kde první kapitola popisuje základní pojmy použité v práci. Druhá kapitola analyzuje ekonomicko-politický vývoj v zemi ve 21. století. Stěžejní kapitolou je kapitola třetí, ve které jsou pomocí komparace SWOT analýz Venezuely z let 2007 a 2017 určeny možné příčiny probíhající krize a zároveň analyzovány příležitosti, které mohou být východisky země z krize. V poslední kapitole je analyzováno uvedení venezuelské kryptoměny petro.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the crisis in Venezuela, which has began in the country in 2014. The aim of the thesis is to identify the causes of this crisis and suggest possible ways out of the crisis. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters, where the first chapter describes the basic terms used in the work. The second chapter analyzes the economic and political developments in the country in the 21st century. The core chapter is the third chapter in which the possible causes of the ongoing crisis are identified using comparison of two SWOT analysis of Venezuela from 2007 and 2017, and at the same time analyzed the opportunities that could be ways out of the country's crisis. The last chapter analyzes the introduction of the Venezuelan cryptocurrency petro.
