Analysis of insurance citizens property insurance market in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá pojištěním majetku občanů na pojistném trhu v ČR. Teoretická část obsahuje historii majetkového pojištění až po současnou právní úpravu, vývoj pojistného trhu v podmínkách České republiky a vysvětluje základní pojmy. Dále je zde uvedena specifikace nabízených pojistných produktů současnými pojistiteli. Praktická část je věnována podrobné analýze a porovnání vybraného produktu u třech nejvýznamnějších pojistitelů České republiky. Práce přináší laickému potencionálnímu zájemci souhrnnou, avšak plně srozumitelnou informaci o pojištění majetku občanů v rozsahu krytých rizik a o výši pojistného. Uvádím odlišnosti jednotlivých nabídek pojistitelů a jejich význam při rozhodování a výběru pojistitele.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the insurance of the property of citizens at the insurance market in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part covers the history of the insurance in question up to current legislation, development of insurance market under the conditions of the Czech Republic, and specification of significant definitions. Furthermore, the thesis contains specifications of offered insurance products by current insurers. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to a detailed analysis and comparison of the selected product at the three more significant insurers in the Czech Republic. The thesis offers general fully intelligible information about citizen property insurance in the range of covered risks and about the premium to lay potential clients. I also provide the differences of individual insurers together with their significance when deciding and selecting the insurer
