Seniors housing policy in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Politika bydlení seniorů v ČR a SR“ je zhodnotit politiku bydlení seniorů ve vybraných zemích. Teoretická část se věnuje bytové politice obecně a vymezení cílové skupiny seniorů. Druhá a třetí část, které se týkají konkrétní situace v ČR a SR, se nejprve stručně zmiňují o věkové struktuře obyvatel a možnostech bydlení seniorů, a následně se zaměřují na strategické dokumenty a nástroje podporující bydlení seniorů ve vybraných zemích. V poslední části jsou na základě zjištěných poznatků politiky vybraných zemí komparovány a hodnoceny.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis “Seniors Housing Policy in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic” is to evaluate seniors housing policy in the selected countries. Theoretical part engages in housing policy in general and the definition of target group of seniors. The second and third part, which relate to the specific situation in the Czech Republic and the Slovak republic, refer to age structure of population and housing opportunities of seniors, and after that focus on strategic documents and instruments supporting housing of seniors in the selected countries. In the last part are policies of selected countries compared and evaluated on the basis of findings.
