Traveling exhibition of Czechoslovak toys from the 1970s and 1980s

Abstract:

Cílem práce je návrh zatraktivnění existující putovní výstavy hraček ze 70. a 80. let 20. století v oblasti koncepce, produkce, arts managementu a marketingové komunikace. Výstava je koncipovaná jako putovní a obsahově se zabývá třemi tématy. Jedná se o hračky ze 70. a 80. let minulého století, nafukovací a gumové hračky z Fatry a Igráčka. Putovní výstavy jsou nabízeny muzeím a galeriím po celé České republice a jejich vizuál a komunikace se poslední léta příliš nemění. V rychle se měnící době s nástupem nových médií a standardů ve vizuálu výstav je důležité se zastavit a zhodnotit působení těchto výstav jak na návštěvníky, tak na muzejní a galerijní instituce, které si tyto výstavy zapůjčují. Poznatky získané z výzkumu a teoretické rešerše budou aplikovány v praktické části diplomové práce

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to design ways to enhance the appeal of an existing traveling exhibition of toys from the 1970s and 1980s in terms of concept, production, arts management, and marketing communication. The exhibition is designed as a traveling one and focuses on three themes. These include toys from the 70s and 80s, inflatable and rubber toys from Fatra and Igráček. Traveling exhibitions are offered to museums and galleries throughout the Czech Republic, and their visuals and communication have not changed much in recent years. In a rapidly changing era with the advent of new media and standards in exhibition visuals, it is important to pause and evaluate the impact of these exhibitions on both visitors and the museum and gallery institutions that borrow them. Findings from research and theoretical reviews will be applied in the practical part of the thesis.
