Práce se zakládá na analýze stylistických a syntaktických prostředků českých povídek vůči anglickým originálům. The main objective is to define Lovecraft's form and style of writing and to compare collected data with the Czech translations and their authors. The theoretical part focuses on process of translation and description of literary background of Lovecraft's stories in Czech and English context.
