Gypsies child and gypsies fairy tale

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem předloţené práce je charakterizovat romskou pohádku a její význam pro dnešní romské děti. Teoretická část pojednává celkově o romské pohádce a jejich znacích, praktická část je pak zamřena na to, zdali romská pohádka přeţila do dnešní doby, jakou roli hraje v ţivotě romských dětí a jakou formou jsou pohádky dětem dostupné. Práce můţe pomoci osvětlit některé příčiny nepochopení chování a projevů romských dětí a také naznačuje určité moţnosti vyuţití prvků romství a romské pohádky k integraci Romů do majoritní společnosti.

Abstract:

The main goal of presented thesis is to characterize gypsy fairy-tales and to describe their importance for recent gypsy generations. The theoretical part deals the gypsy fairy-tail is characterized as the source of gypsies' history knowledge. The research part is focused on the issue weather the gypsy fairy-tale has survived till these days, what role it plays in gypsy children life and what forms of fairy-tales are accessible to the children. The thesis can help to light up some reasons of misunderstandings of gypsy children behavior and it indicates certain possibilities of exploitation of romipen elements and gypsy fairy-tale for integration of gypsies into majority society.
