Analysis of Ústí nad Labem city based on the results of the census

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je analýza města Ústí nad Labem na základě výsledků sčítání lidu, domů a bytů. Cílem práce je komparovat jednotlivé výsledky sčítání a shrnout přínosy a negativa pro město. Práce je zaměřena především na analýzu výsledků sčítání lidu domů a bytů z let 2001 a 2011. První polovina práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku města Ústí nad Labem, dále na představení sčítání lidu z historického a metodického hlediska. V práci jsou dále představeny vybrané rozdíly v metodikách SLDB 2001 a 2011. Druhá polovina práce je věnována analýze výsledků jednotlivých sčítání a představení vybraných výsledků a ukazatelů a město Ústí nad Labem je srovnáváno s jeho nadřazenými územními jednotkami, Ústeckým krajem a Českou republikou. Součástí práce je také pohled na jednotlivé městské obvody Ústí nad Labem a srovnání výsledků za obyvatelstvo, domy a byty z roku 2011. Bakalářská práce je zakončena zhodnocením vybraných výsledků a ukazatelů a měla by tak poskytnout pohled na vývoj města.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of Ústí nad Labem city based on the results of the census. The aim of the thesis is to compare individual census results and to summarize the benefits and negatives for the city. The thesis is mainly focused on the analysis of the results of 2001 and 2011 censuses. The first half of the thesis is focused on the characteristics of Ústí nad Labem city, on the presentation of the census from historical and methodological point of view. The thesis also presents selected differences in 2001 and 2011 methodologies. The second half of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of the results of individual censuses and the presentation of selected results and indicators and compares the Ústí and Labem city with its superior territorial units, the Ústí region and the Czech Republic. The thesis also includes a view of the individual city districts of Ústí and Labem city in the comparison of the results for the population, houses and apartments from 2011. The bachelor thesis is concluded with an evaluation of selected results and indicators and should thus provide an insight of the development of the city.
