The Supreme Audit Office and his activity

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá Nejvyšším kontrolním úřadem a jeho činností, s cílem analyzovat fungování NKÚ jako orgánu kontroly hospodaření s prostředky státu. A to především za použití metod analýzy, metody deskriptivní a komparační, s nutností nastudování odborné literatury, právních předpisů České republiky i Evropské unie, mezinárodních dokumentů a odborných článků. Především bude práce zaměřena na činnost NKÚ, soustředit se bude také na problematiku současné a nově připravované právní úpravy NKÚ, konkretizován bude i vztah NKÚ k veřejným zakázkám. V závěru práce budou uvedeny zjištěné poznatky, získané na základě nastudování problematiky daného tématu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis looks into the Supreme Audit Office with its activities, with the aim to analyze the functioning of the SAO as the control authority of the state funds management. The work uses methods of descriptive and komparative analysis and reflects the knowledge of professional literature, relevant laws of the Czech Republic and the European Union, international documents and articles. Above all, the work focuses on SAO activities including the issues of current and newly prepared legislation of SAO nad SAO relation to public contracts. The summary presents the most important findings of the research.
