Economic development in the Czech Republic and advancement of tourism

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je určit vzájemný vztah hospodářského vývoje a cestovního ruchu České republiky v období 2008-2017. Práce je dělena na tři části, z nichž první teoreticko-metodologická představuje východiska z odborné literatury, která se zaměřují jak na hospodářský vývoj, makroekonomické ukazatele, ale i cestovní ruch.Druhá část je analytická, v které je analyzován hospodářský vývoj ČR,vývoj vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů i cestovní ruch. Kde je hlavním cílem určit vzájemné vztahy mezi makroekonomickými ukazateli a cestovním ruchem ve zkoumaných letech. V této části je především využita z metodologického hlediska deskriptivní analýza, které jsou podrobena především data Českého statistického úřadu a Eurostatu.V třetí části, která je částí návrhovou, kde jsou zejména uvedeny možnosti potencionálního vývoje. Především vlastní návrhy jak napomoci rozvoji cestovního ruchu v kontextu aktuálního hospodářského vývoje. Zde jsou využity především metody syntézy a dedukce, které napomáhají formulaci potencionálního vývoje a především na základě zjištěných skutečností umožňují formulovat doporučení do budoucna.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the mutual relation between the economic development in the Czech Republic and tourist industry in the period 2008 - 2017. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical and provides the theoretical and methodological background. It makes use of the relevant literature focusing not only on the economic development and macroeconomic indicators, but also on tourism. The second part is analytical. It analyzes the economic development in the Czech Republic, development of selected macroeconomic indicators as well as tourism. The main objective of this part is to determine the relationship between the macroeconomic indicators and the tourist industry in the selected time span. In this part, descriptive analysis is employed as the main methodological tool to which the data from the Czech Statistical Office and Eurostat are submitted. The third part of the thesis puts forward the possibilities of the potential development and presents author’s own proposals to help the development of tourism in the context of the current economic course. For this purpose,the methods of synthesis and deduction are used. These two methods help to formulate the potential development and, above all, on the basis of established facts, they allow us to make recommendations for the future.
