Abstract:

Abstrakt Otázky možností podpory regionálního rozvoje se v současné době staly často diskutovaným tématem kromě jiného i z důvodu dopadů transformačních procesů 90. let na regionální diverzifikaci území. Práce představuje hlavní faktory vzniku a růstu regionálních diferencí v České republice v kontextu dominantních teorií regionálního rozvoje. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na představení hlavních aktérů, kteří vstupují do podpory rozvoje území jak na evropské, tak na národní a regionální úrovni. Pozornost je v práci zaměřena na možnosti spolupráce jednotlivých aktérů, jsou porovnány jejich odlišné role a cíle, kterými se snaží přispět ke zvýšení potenciálu rozvoje a zvýšení životní úrovně jednotlivých regionů. V práci je rovněž představena stručná komparace úlohy aktérů v regionálním rozvoji v České republice a ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie.

Abstract:

Abstract The possibilities of regional development are nowadays a topic often discussed. Besides others, this is due to the impact of transformation processes in 1990′s on the territorial diversification. This Bachelor´s Thesis presents the principal factors of formation and growth of regional differences in the Czech Republic in compliance with the dominant theories of regional development. Special emphasis is placed on presenting the major participants involved in the support of development of regions at the European, national, and regional levels. Attention is drawn to the possibilities of cooperation between the particular participating subjects on one hand and to the comparison of the subjects´ different roles and aims in increasing both the potential of development and the standard of living in individual regions on the other hand. This thesis also presents a brief comparison of functions of subjects involved in the regional development in the Czech Republic as opposed to those in some countries in the European Union.
