Analysis of CSR activities from the point of view of 17 sustainable development goals in selected company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá společenskou odpovědností ve skupině ČSOB. Cílem práce bylo na základě analýzy CSR aktivit, za pomoci 17 cílů udržitelného rozvoje, identifikovat příležitosti pro zlepšení a navrhnout možná opatření v oblasti společenské. Práce může skupině sloužit jako vzor při reportování o společenské odpovědnosti. První část práce je věnována teoretickým poznatkům, je představen pojem udržitelnost, CSR, popsána krátká historie a hlavní pilíře a přínosy CSR. Další část teoretické části tvoří popsání všech 17 cílů udržitelného rozvoje a představení organizací, které se zabývají společenskou odpovědností. Druhá část práce se věnuje analýze CSR aktivit. Nejprve je představena skupina ČSOB. Sestaven hodnotový řetězec skupiny, z něhož vychází seznam měřitelných indikátorů a poté je již provedena samotná analýza CSR aktivit v souvislosti s naplňováním 17 cílů udržitelnosti, vyhodnocení těchto aktivit, doporučení pro zlepšení a stanovení cílů v oblasti CSR.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with social responsibility in the ČSOB group. The aim was to analyse CSR activities from the point of view of 17 sustainable development goals, identify opportunities for iprovement. The thesis can serve asan example during reports on social responsibilities.The first part of the work is focused on theoretical findings the term sustainability is introduced as well as the term CSR, a short history as well as main pillars are described and contribution of CSR. The next part of the theoretical part consists of the description of all 17 sustainable development goals and the introduction of organizations which deal with social responsibility. The second part of the thesis deals with the analysis of CSR activities. First the ČSOB is introduced and then a value chain of the group is created from which the list of measurable indicators comes out and then the analysis of CSR activities is performed in association with filling of the 17 sustainable developmnet goals, the evaluation of said activities, recommendation of betterment and an assessing of goals in the area of CSR.
