Business model for social enterprise – Happy Place

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá sestavením business modelu pro sociální podnik Happy place. Happy place je kavárna s vlastní cukrárnou. Koncept kavárny se zaměřuje na udržitelnou výrobu veganských a vegetariánských cukrářských výrobků a zároveň zaměstnává znevýhodněnou skupinu lidí, kterými jsou lidé bez domova. Práce je vytvořena na základě metody Lean Canvas od Ash Maurya, což je adaptovaná verze metody Canvas od Alexandra Osterwaldera a Yvese Pigneura. Jelikož jde o sociální podnik, bude použita verze Social Lean Canvas. Vlastní průzkum trhu bude vytvořen na základě výsledků z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníku. Výsledky z výzkumu poté napomohou k sestavení finální verze Social Lean Canvas. Pro zhodnocení business modelu budou sestaveny dvě analýzy, analýza PEST pro analýzu makrookolí a analýza SWOT pro zjištění silných a slabých stránek, příležitostí a hrozeb.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the compilation of a business model for the social enterprise Happy place. Happy place is a cafe with its own pastry shop. The concept of the cafe focuses on the sustainable production of vegan and vegetarian confectionery products and at the same time employs a disadvantaged group, which are homeless people. The work is based on the Lean Canvas method by Ash Maury, which is an adapted version of the Canvas method by Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur. As it is a social enterprise, the Social Lean Canvas version will be used. The market research will be created on the basis of the results of semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire. The results of the research will then help to compile the final version of the Social Lean Canvas. To evaluate the business model, two analyzes will be compiled, PEST analysis for macroenvironment analysis and SWOT analysis for identification of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
