Táto práca sa snaží na základe textu Etiky Nikomachovej podať popis metódy použitej v skúmaní praktických vied. Cieľom prvej časti je vyhľadať, a s ohľadom na metodológiu teoretických vied, systematicky interpretovať pasáže explicitne popisujúce povahu skúmania v Etike, a tak určiť špecifické vlastnosti praktickej metódy.
