Abstract:
Cílem této diplomové práce je prozkoumat metody optimalizace XPath dotazů v nativních XML databázích a navrhnout procesor XPath dotazů pro systém XIQE je experimentální systém pro indexování kolekcí dokumentů XML. Jeho hlavním cílem je porovnání různých technik indexování a ukládání dokumentů.
Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is to explore the methods of XPath optimization in the area of native XML databases and to design XPath processor for the system XIQE. XIQE is experimental system for indexing and querying XML document collections. Its main purpose is to compare various techniques of indexing and storage of XML documents.
