Extremist tendencies of football supporters

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Tato diplomová práce je věnována stále aktuálnímu tématu, jehož ne vždy přesný obraz je veřejnosti předkládán z médií. Autor navazuje na předchozí pokus v bakalářské práci, reflexí dynamiky projevu marginální skupiny rizikových příznivců fotbalových klubů, zejména hooligans. Práce je strukturována do tří částí. První část se zabývá pojmem extremismus a jeho vývojem v českých podmínkách v jeho pravicové a levicové podobě. Autor uvádí variace pojmenování, které se užívají k označení pachatelů tzv. diváckého násilí. Dále mapuje vývoj subkultury hooligans u nás, společně s přiblížením nejobávanější skupiny podporovatelů klubu Baníku Ostrava. Autor popisuje teoretická východiska možných příčin a pohnutek, jež vedou příznivce k projevům extremismu. Dále zmiňuje nový přístup bezpečnostních složek k regulaci nežádoucích projevů rizikových příznivců fotbalových klubů. V praktické části autor vytváří kvalitativní výzkum na základě volných rozhovorů s příznivci Baníku Ostrava. Vytváří mnohonásobné případové studie, trojici respondentů v současnosti aktivních hooligans komparuje se třemi případovými studiemi respondentů aktivních ve ?vrcholném? období hooligans u nás tj. v letech 1998 - 2004. Jednotlivé případové studie jsou strukturovány do oblasti rodinného systému, osobního vývoje, partnerských vztahů a profesní kariéry. Autor pokládá výzkumné otázky: ?Jaké můžeme sledovat proměny v příčinách či pohnutkách, jež zásadním způsobem přispěly k integraci respondentů do závadných skupin? Jak se proměnily vlastnosti respondentů, spolutvůrců fenoménu hooligans za poslední desetiletí? Která životní oblast odkrývá výrazný rozdíl mezi aktivními a bývalými hooligans? Jakým způsobem proběhla změna v objektu ?podpory? hooligans za posledních deset let? Jak se proměnila zásadní pohnutka směřující k ukončení aktivit respondentů v rámci hooligans skupiny během posledních deseti let?? Klíčová slova: extremismus, hooligans, ultras, divácké násilí

Abstract:

This master thesis covers a burning problem, a not always true view of which are presnted by the global media. The Author of this master thesis builds on the previous experiment in bachelor thesis, a reflection of the dynamics speech of extremist tendencies of football supporters, especially hooligans. The work is divided into three parts. The first part, tries to define extremism and its development in the Czech condition in its right and left form. In the next part autor presents variations of the name, used to describe the offenders of peactator violence. Author mentiones about agressive and active football supporters as are hooligans and ultras. Author describes the evolution of the subculture hooligans in the Czech condition and describes the most feared group of football supporters of Baník Ostrava. Author mentions the theoretical base od possible causes that lead football supporters to manifestations of extremism. Also covers a new aproach to the police kontrol the risk of unwanted signs of football supporters. In the practical part, the author uses a comparison of a multi ? case studies, for his qualitative research. The data for this research was collected by interwiev with free current hooligans and with free which are a former members of the aggressive supporters of Baník Ostrava in the top hooligans age from 1998 ? to 2004. The obtained data was arranged into areas of family, profession, personal and partner live. The aim of research is to discovered: which change could observe between this two groups of different ?hooligans generation?. The author asks the research questions: Which changes can we observe in the causes or motives, which contributed to the intergration of the respondents to harmful groups? Which does life area uncover difference between active and former hooligans? What change of ideology could we detect between the active and former hooligans in the last ten years? How was the change of the object of support in the last ten years between active and former hooligans in the last ten years? Key words: extremism, hooligans ultras, football violence
