Mercury sorption on altered coal

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabývám metodou sorpce rtuti na povrch alterovaného uhlí a možných způsobů jejího odstranění s odpadních průmyslových vod. K sorpčním měřením bylo použito alterované uhlí, jako sorbent, o různých zrnitostech. 1) sorpce iontů rtuti probíhá nejrychleji na začátku sorpce a s časem tato rychlost ustává 2) různá zrnitost alterovaného uhlí má zanedbatelný vliv na sorpci iontů rtuti 3) ze zjištěných výsledků s alterovaným uhlím lze konstatovat, že je vhodné k odstraňování iontů rtuti ve středně či slabě kyselých roztocích

Abstract:

In my thesis I am concerning with the sorption of mercury on the surface of altered coal and with possible ways of its disposal from the industrial waste water. Altered coal was used for sorption measurement as a sorbent at different granulities. 1) sorption the mercury ions progresses in the fastest way at the beginning of sorption and in the course of time, this speed gets stabilized 2) different granularity of altered coal has negligible influence on the mercury ions sorption 3) the gathered results of altered coal measurements show, that it is appropriate for mercury ions disposal in mild or less acidic solutions
