Neinvazivní ventilace je součástí strategie umělé plicní ventilace bez invazivního zajištění dýchacích cest a neustále se vyvíjí. Rozvoj neinvazivní ventilace a narůstání počtu indikací neklade zvýšené nároky pouze na sestry a celý zdravotnický tým, ale i na pacienty, kteří tuto léčbu podstupují. Non-invasive ventilation is part of the strategy of artificial lung ventilation without invasive airway management and is constantly evolving.
