Landscape adaptation to climate change as a topic of inter-municipal cooperation within MAS Vladař

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku adaptace krajiny na klimatickou změnu v kontextu meziobecní spolupráce na území MAS Vladař. Práce prozkoumává dopady klimatické změny na region a zkoumá možnosti spolupráce obcí při zavádění adaptačních opatření. Z analýzy území vychází, že mezi klíčové výzvy sucho, vlny veder, povodně, vydatné srážky a degradace půdy. Výzkum kombinuje kvantitativní i kvalitativní metody, včetně dotazníkového šetření a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zástupci obcí a dalších subjektů. Výsledky ukazují, že meziobecní spolupráce hraje v adaptaci významnou roli v realizaci efektivních adaptačních opatření, avšak na území MAS Vladař existují jisté nedostatky, jako je nedostatek financí či rozdílné priority jednotlivých obcí. Práce navrhuje konkrétní opatření, která by mohla přispět k lepší připravenosti regionu na klimatické změny, a zdůrazňuje význam koordinovaného přístupu mezi všemi aktéry zájmového území.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of landscape adaptation to climate change in the context of inter-municipal cooperation in the territory of MAS Vladař. The thesis examines the impacts of climate change on the region and explores the possibilities of cooperation between municipalities in implementing adaptation measures. The analysis of the territory shows that key challenges include drought, heat waves, floods, heavy rainfall and land degradation. The research combines quantitative and qualitative methods, including a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews with representatives of municipalities and other stakeholders. The results show that inter-municipal cooperation plays a key role in the implementation of effective adaptation measures, however, there are obstacles in the MAS Vladař area, such as lack of funding or different priorities of individual municipalities. The paper proposes specific measures that could contribute to better preparedness of the region for climate change and emphasises the importance of a coordinated approach between all actors in the area of interest.
