Cílem diplomové práce „Extremismus v čase hospodářské recese“ je pomocí empirické analýzy dat zjistit, zda špatné hospodářské výsledky vedly ve vybraném vzorku zemí k nárůstu politické moci u stran z okraje politického spektra, tj. u stran označovaných jako krajně pravicové nebo levicové.
