Cílem této práce je identifikovat oblasti, ve kterých je možné zlepšit pozici České republiky z hlediska mezinárodní konkurenceschopnosti. Z důvodu jisté nejednoznačnosti definice konkurenční schopnosti státu se v první části práce zabývám jejím vymezením, měřením a hodnocením. The aim of this thesis is to identify the areas in which is possible to improve the position of the Czech Republic in the international context of competitiveness. Whereas it is difficult to define the national competitiveness, I focus, in the first part of the thesis, on the measuring and evaluating the national competitiveness.
