Innovation in startups as a factor of competitiveness

Abstract:

Diplomové práce se zabývá problematikou českého startupového ekosystému, inovačními schopnostmi tuzemských startupů a jejich vlivem na konkurenceschopnost těchto malých dynamicky se vyvíjející podniků. Za pomoci několika výzkumných metod, včetně kvalitativního a kvantitavního výzkumu, je analyzován současný stav a vývoj českého startupové prostředí, klíčové faktory ovlivňující úspěch či neúspěch startupů a možnost jejich rozvoje díky inovačnímu procesu, jakožto jednomu z možných způsobů získání konkurenční výhody. Následně jsou identifikovány nejčastější pochybení, kterých se startupy dopouštějí a hledány vhodné inovační strategie, které by startupům pomohly zajistit dostatečnou konkurenceschopnost, upevnit jejich pozici na trhu a zaručili jim přežití. Cílem práce bude ověření teoretických východisek a praktických zkušeností ve vývoji startupů v aplikaci inovačních aktivit.

Abstract:

The diploma theses deals with the issues of the Czech startup ecosystem, the innovative capabilities of domestic startups, and their impact on the competitiveness of these small dynamics and developing companies. With the help of several research methods, including qualitative and quantitative research, the current state and development of the Czech startup environment, key factors influencing the success or failure of startups, and the possibility of their development through the innovation process will be analyzed in one possible way. Subsequently, other doubts will be identified, which are beginning to be committed and are looking for suitable innovation strategies, which helped startups to create sufficient competitiveness, consolidate their position in the market and ensure their survival. The work aim to verify the theoretical basis and practical experience in the development of startups in the application of innovation activities.
