Design and implementation of reporting and prediction solution for accounts receivable and credit notes for a company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací reportingového a predikčního řešení pohledávek a dobropisů pro obchodní společnost, jehož účelem je zpřehlednit informace o zákaznících, stavu jejich pohledávek a dobropisů a predikovat tento stav do budoucnosti, a tím poskytnout nástroj k možnému zlepšení cashflow společnosti. Řešení vychází z business zadání projektu, které obsahuje popis společnosti, popis divize a popis oddělení datové analytiky včetně popisu dosavadního řešení pohledávek. Datové zadání obsahuje obecné informace o produkčních systémech, ETL a modelovacích nástrojích, vizualizačních a distribučních nástrojích ve společnosti a dále informace o výběru konkrétních datových zdrojů a nástrojů pro řešení. Datové zadání také obsahuje alternativní způsoby vizualizace pohledávek a požadavky na řešení. Kapitola Řešení projektu zahrnuje návrh reportu, postup implementace, integraci dat v ETL platformě, sémantický model, KPI, predikci v Pythonu, vizualizaci Business Intelligence řešení, distribuci a výsledky průzkumu spokojenosti uživatelů. Závěr shrnuje celý projekt a jeho přínosy uživatelům.

Abstract:

The aim of the reporting and prediction solution for accounts receivable and credit notes for a company is to make information about customers and the status of their accounts receivable and credit notes more transparent and to predict this status for the future, thus providing a tool for possible improvement of the company's cash flow. Firstly, the chapter business assignment contains brief information about the company, division, data analytics department and receivables visualization in the company. Secondly, the chapter data assignment contains general information about the production systems and other data sources, ETL and modelling tools and visualization and distribution tools in the company, data sources and tools chosen for my project, also alternative ways of visualizing receivables and requirements. Thirdly, the chapter project assignment is divided into requirements gathering, report design, implementation procedure, data, joined tables in ETL platform, data model, KPI, prediction in Python, visualization of business intelligence solution, distribution and user satisfaction survey results. Finally, the conclusion summarizes the project and its benefits to users.
