Physiotherapy after spinal cord injuries in cervical spine area - tetraplegia

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřená na řešení problematiky fyzioterapie po úrazu míchy v oblasti krční páteře. Následkem transversální léze míšní v oblasti krční páteře vzniká tetraparéza (kvadruparéza) nebo tetraplegie (kvadruplegie). Práce se skládá z několika částí. Úvod, přehled teoretických poznatků, který obsahuje obecnou a speciální část, cíle a úkoly práce, hlavní část a závěr. Náplní obecné části je anatomie a fyziologie páteře a míchy, dále etiologie a prognóza onemocnění a diagnostické a terapeutické postupy. Ve speciální části se věnuji především obecným fyzioterapeutickým postupům a fázím rehabilitace u této diagnózy. Další částí jsou cíle a úkoly práce, kde si stanovuji hlavní cíle práce, kterých bych chtěla dosáhnout. Hlavní část obsahuje kazuistiku u jednoho, mnou vybraného pacienta s tetraplegií, pak dále vstupní a výstupní vyšetření, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán. V závěru se věnuji zhodnocování průběhu léčebného rehabilitačního programu a dosažené výsledky terapie. Nezbytnou součástí této práce jsou také tabulky a obrázkové přílohy, které práci doplňují.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on solving the issue of physiotherapy after injury of spinal cord in the area of cervical spine. As a result of transversal spinal lesion in the area of cervical spine tetraparesis (quadraparesis) or tetraplegia (quadriplegia) arises. This thesis consists of several parts. The introduction, which gives a summary of theoretical pieces of knowledge including general and specific parts, furthermore the tasks and targets of this thesis. The main part and the conclusion. Contents of the general part is anatomy and physiology of the spine and the spinal cord, etiology and prognosis of the illness and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. In the specific part I write mainly about general physiotherapeutic processes and phases of rehabilitation for this diagnosis. In the following part I set up the tasks and targets I would like to achieve. The main part includes casuistry of one patient with tetraplegia, whom I have chosen, their check-in and check-out examination and short-term and long-term plan. In the conclusion I assess the progress of the curing rehabilitation program and achieved therapy results. The thesis is complemented by necessary charts and pictoral attachments.
