Hope in the old age from the perspective of home for the elderly workers

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem sociální konstrukce naděje ve stáří sociálními pracovníky v domovech pro seniory. V teoretické části jsou definovány koncepty - sociální konstrukce, kategorizace, stereotypizace a idealizace, stáří, naděje a naděje ve stáří. Výzkum je proveden za pomoci kvalitativní strategie, formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s šesti sociálními pracovníky a šesti klienty celkem v šesti domovech pro seniory. Data jsou zpracována pomocí otevřeného a axiálního kódování. Závěrem práce je, že sociální pracovníci konstruují naději ve stáří ve spojení s moudrostí, prožívanou radostí a pokorou, s aktivním přístupem k životu, stereotypně přistupují k prožívání vlastního stáří s rodinou jako stáří prožitého s nadějí. Dále předpokládají, že veřejnost tuto naději nevidí a že získáním zkušeností se starými lidmi pohled mění. V závěru práce odpovídám na základní výzkumnou otázku a definuji doporučení pro praxi a výzkum.

Abstract:

The work deals with the social construction of hope in the old age of social workers in homes for the elderly. In the theoretical part defines the concepts - social structure, categorization , stereotyping and idealization, age, hope, and hope in old age. Research is carried out using a qualitative strategy, in the form of semi-structured interviews with six social workers and six clients in six homes for the elderly. Data are processed using open and axial coding. The thesis concludes that social workers construct the hope of the ages in conjunction with the wisdom, experience joy and humility, active approach to life, stereotyped approach to the experience of his own age with his family as age lived with hope. Further assume that the public does not see this and hope that gained experience with the elderly view changes. In conclusion, answer the following research question and define recommendations for practice and research.
