Wine Tourism in Selected Regions of the Czech Republic and Slovenia

Abstract:

Hlavním motivem diplomové práce je víno a vinařský cestovní ruch. Vinařský cestovní ruch je relativně novou formou cestovního ruchu, která se stále rozvíjí a je čím dál tím oblíbenější. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat a následně porovnat vinařský cestovní ruch ve dvou vybraných oblastech: na jižní Moravě v České republice a v oblasti Podráví ve Slovinsku. Na základě komparace a analýzy je vytvořen návrh rozvoje cestovního ruchu pro jižní Moravu. Ne náhodou byly vybrány tyto dvě destinace, mají totiž mnoho společných, ale i rozdílných charakteristik. V první části práce jsou uvedeny pojmy týkající se obecně turismu a následně jsou popsána specifika vinařského cestovního ruchu. V druhé části je provedena analýza vybraných oblastí v podobě analýzy nabídky a poptávky cestovního ruchu. V závěru jsou obě destinace porovnány dle stanovených kritérií a na konci jsou představeny návrhy pro další rozvoj cestovního ruchu na jižní Moravě.

Abstract:

The main theme of the diploma thesis is wine and wine tourism. Wine tourism is a relatively new type of tourism, but it is still developing and becoming more and more popular. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and subsequently compare wine tourism in two selected wine regions: South Moravia in the Czech Republic and Podravje region in Slovenia. Based on the analysis and comparison, proposals on South Moravia tourism development are presented. These regions were chosen intentionally as they have many similarities, but also some differences. The first part of the thesis deals with definitions regarding tourism in a general way and particularities of wine tourism are mentioned as well. The second part is dedicated to an analysis of tourism in both regions in the form of the analysis of supply and demand side. In the very final part both regions are compared according to the set criteria and developing plan of tourism for South Moravia region is introduced.
