Abstract:

Produktová bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu dokumentárního filmu a jeho tvorby.Jejím cílem je vytvoření dokumentárního portrétu s názvem Danka, který zachycuje osobnost vybrané profesionální tanečnice. Film popisuje její povahové rysy, chování, názory, hodnoty i sociální prostředí, představí také specifika jejího povolání. Práce vychází z nastíněné teorie a metod, které byly při tvorbě produktu aplikovány. Zejména se jedná o mody a modely dokumentárního filmu podle Billa Nicholse. Využity jsou ale také postupy Davida Bordwella a Kristin Thompsonové a dalších filmových teoretiků. Cílem je také reflexe tvůrčího procesu a výsledného produktu ve vztahu k teorii a metodám.

Abstract:

The practical Bachelor´s thesis is concerned with documentary film and its process of production. The aim is to create a documentary portrait with the title Danka, which depicts personality of a chosen professional dancer. The film describes her character traits, behaviour, opinions, beliefs and social surroundings as well as the specifics of her profession. The thesis is based on the outlined theory and methods, that were applied while creating the film. Especially, modes and models of the documentary film created by Bill Nichols, constitute this basis. Methods of David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson and of other theorists are also used. Another aim is to reflect the process of production and the final product in relation to theory and methods.
