Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat negaci ve francouzském jazyce. Práce obsahuje část teoretickou, kde se zabýváme záporem z hlediska morfosyntaxe a sémantiky, zejména tedy morfémy, ze kterých se skládá, jejich vývojem a členěním, dále pak rozlišením negace lingvistické a logické a jejím vlivem na výrok jako celek nebo na některé jeho prvky.
