Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá Mezinárodním festivalem Divadlo v Plzni z hlediska dramaturgie hlavního programu a proměn jeho koncepce v letech 2017–2021. Autorka stručně přibližuje kontext vzniku festivalu na počátku 90. let minulého století a tehdejší prvotní vize jeho zakladatelů, které následně komparuje s podobou poslední pětice vybraných ročníků. Zásadní součástí práce je analýza dvacátého pátého až dvacátého devátého ročníku, jež se opírá o reflexe odborné veřejnosti, dobové tiskoviny, výpovědi současných členů dramaturgické rady a též o vlastní diváckou zkušenost autorky jako účastnice festivalu. Práce se rovněž zabývá otázkou mezinárodnosti festivalu a tematického i žánrového zaměření jeho hlavního programu. Osvětluje, proč zahraniční programové sekci dlouhodobě vévodí země střední a východní Evropy a kvůli čemu není poměr souborů z ČR a zahraničí vyvážený. Poukazuje na znatelný odklon od vize uvádět inscenace uplynulé sezóny a zviditelňuje ryze provozní důvody vedoucí k takovému kroku. V okruhu inscenací z hlavního programu nalézá navzdory tematické otevřenosti festivalu tendenci k vytváření dvou výrazných tematických linií a zodpovídá, proč dramaturgie vychází vstříc loutkovému divadlu a přesahům k hudebně-dramatickým žánrům, ale taneční produkce takřka opomíjí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the International Festival Divadlo in Pilsen in terms of the dramaturgy of the main programme and the transformation in its concept in the years 2017–2021. The author briefly introduces the context of the festival's creation in the early 1990s and the initial vision of its founders, which she then compares with the form of the last five selected years. A crucial part of the work is the analysis of the twenty-fifth to the twenty-ninth year, which is based on the reflections of the professional community, contemporary publications, testimonies of the current members of the dramaturgical board, and on the author's own audience experience as a participant of the festival. The thesis also deals with the question of the internationality of the festival and the thematic and genre focus of its main programme. It explains why the foreign programme section has long been dominated by Central and Eastern European countries and why the ratio of Czech and foreign ensembles is not balanced. It points out the noticeable departure from the vision of presenting the productions of the past season and makes visible the purely operational reasons leading to this move. Despite the thematic openness of the festival, the author finds a tendency to create two distinct thematic lines in the range of productions from the main selection. Among other things, she answers why dramaturgy caters to the puppet theatre and overlaps with musical-dramatic genres but almost ignores dance productions.
