Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na seznámení čtenáře s polynomy, jejich algebraickými vlastnostmi a následně propojením s numerickou matematikou. Nejprve jsou definovány polynomy v oblasti algebry a následně jsou představeny vlastnosti polynomu jako například dělitelnost, kořeny polynomů, jejich násobnost. This thesis focuses on acquainting the reader with polynomials and their algebraic properties and then linking with the numerical mathematics. Polynomials are defined first in the field of algebra and subsequently are presented properties of polynomial such as divisibility, roots of polynomials and their multiplicity.
