Labour Offices before and after the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union, changes on the labour market from 2004 onwards

Abstract:

Práce je věnována krátké historii činnosti veřejných služeb zaměstnanosti a úřadů práce v České republice. Popisuje úlohu politiky zaměstnanosti a úlohu úřadů práce, které se podílejí na její realizaci v regionech. Práce se zaměřuje na služby poskytované úřady práce před a po roce 2004. Zachycuje vývoj na trhu práce i změny, které nastaly ve službách zaměstnanosti a na trhu práce zejména po roce 2004, tj. po vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie.

Abstract:

The work deals with a brief history of activity of Public Employment Services and Labour Offices in the Czech Republic. It describes the role of employment policy and the role of Labour Offices, which are involved in its implementation in the regions. Work focuses on services provided by Labour Offices before and after the year 2004. It takes down the labour market development and changes that have occurred in the Public Employment Services and on the labour market 2004 onwards, i.e. after the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union.
