Didactic work with text in French lessons

Abstract:

The main task of the master thesis „Le travail avec le texte littéraire dans les leçons de français“ is to clarify the correct procedure of working with literary text during lessons of foreign language according to the didactic principles. In the introduction we examine the process of reading so based on this knowledge we could naturally support student brain activity even during the teaching lesson. After that we focus on the foreign language reading problem and we introduce strategies that can compensate these difficulties. The main part of the master thesis focuses on specific work with literary text. We show how to make the students to understand the text by activating all their available knowledge of chosen topic and by asking properly chosen questions to lead the students from what they already know to the unknown. We also stress the fact that the work with the text does not end with the understanding the content but it is necessary to further utilize the text as much as possible. Part of this master thesis are four worksheets that show in a practical way how to work with particular literary text during a teaching lesson.

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Le travail avec le texte littéraire dans les leçons de français“ je objasnit, jak podle didaktických zásad pracovat s literárním textem v hodině cizího jazyka. V úvodu práce zkoumáme, jakým způsobem probíhá proces četby, abychom mohli díky těmto znalostem přirozeně podpořit práci mozku i ve vyučovací hodině. Poté se zaměřujeme na problémy četby v cizím jazyce a představujeme strategie, které umožňují kompenzovat tyto případné těžkosti. V hlavní části diplomové práce se věnujeme specifické práci s literárním textem. Ukazujeme, jak přivést žáky k pochopení textu tím, že aktivujeme veškeré znalosti žáků k vybranému tématu a položíme vhodně zvolené otázky, které žáky povedou od známému k neznámému. Taktéž upozorňujeme na fakt, že práce s textem nekončí porozuměním obsahu, ale že je třeba text dále zužitkovat, abychom z něj získali maximum. Součástí této diplomové práce jsou čtyři pracovní listy, které praktickým způsobem ukazují, jak v hodině pracovat s konkrétním literárním textem.
